Appraisal Firewall, now part of Xactus and offered as Appraisal Firewall X, is appraisal-management technology that lets a lender control its own residential and commercial appraisal process rather than outsourcing to an AMC. A credit union uses it to order valuations, work with trusted local appraisers, track double-blind communications for compliance, and connect to UCDP and GSE property-data programs to speed loan production.
